Michelle Little is a classically-trained, diva inspired, honky tonk lovin', smouldering hot vocalist who, at 27 years old, has more than 15 years of performing experience. She released her first full album 'Hear Me Now' in December 2007 and her first single 'Free To Be Me' earned her a TIARA nomination and received airplay on radio both in Australia and in Europe. A graduate of the CMAA College of Country Music and a Finalist in Toyota Star Maker, Michelle has also played gigs in Nashville USA, including the world famous 'Bluebird Café'. "….Seeing how the American performers worked was such an eye opener for me. They are so committed to their craft. When I got home I was determined to show the same commitment". Since releasing her album, Hear Me Now, Michelle's career has been on the rise with performances at some of Australia's major festivals including, Tamworth Country Music Festival and The Toyota National Muster. Michelle also represented Australian Country Music at the Buddha's Birthday Celebrations at Darling Harbour in Sydney. Michelle's tribute to her long-time idol, Patsy Cline, at the 2009 Tamworth Country Music Festival was a great success with standing ovations from a packed house. Michelle was nominated for Best Female Vocal at the TIARA awards with her song "Free To Be Me" in early 2009 and recently at the Mildura Independent Country Music Festival Michelle's performances were so well received that she sold out of product twice. After spending several years in Sydney where she studied classical singing at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Michelle is now based in Brisbane and ready for whatever performance opportunities arise. Her 2009/2010 calendar is already packed with gigs booked in at venues and festivals across Australia. Whether it's a beautiful ballad at your wedding ceremony, a solo set or rockin' it out with her band, this girl knows how to sing and will draw you in!
