Whilst Frank Falvo’s sound is very catchy, light and radio-friendly, there is much more to the songs than meets the ear. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, guitarist and songwriter Frank Falvo is ready to take his animated, heart-warming guitar pop sound to the masses. Since swapping his job as a bank manager for a chance to make a fist of the music game, Frank has proven himself to be a solid songwriter who plays and sings with the passion of a grounded music veteran. Frank has recently shot his first video for his song Movement in White, taken from his 2009 EP of the same name, which was filmed in HD and featured on the ABC TV program Rage TWO times on 30 April 2010 and 16 April 2011. Drawing on a vast range of musical style from pop to guitar ballads, rock and folk, Frank Falvo has been described as “an artist with a Van Morrison/Elvis Costello vibe”. Listeners have also said that Frank’s voice reminds them of John Lennon, Peter Gabriel and Cat Stevens. Frank breathes life into guitar song writing with his rich, evocative sound. Frank has also been featured on a number of radio stations, with a recent interviews (March 2010 and April 2011) and TV spot on Channel 31. Frank was invited to be a partner at Youtube Feb 2011. Frank Falvo’s second release and first full-length album, The Winds on Fire lets the listener experience 10 powerful, emotionally charged originals. The songs are highly relatable, infectious and multidimensional, taking the listener through a spectrum of emotions in the space of a single track. The album’s standout tracks are Juliet Be Mine, which features a joint vocal duo with Jane Patterson, and the dramatic and inspirational Riding the Firestorm.
