“Fresh, Dynamic, Exquisite and Raw” ”She’s creating her own market in the industry” Arley Black is a singer/songwriter from Tamworth, New South Wales, born with a truly beautiful gift to tell stories through her music. Since receiving her first guitar in late 2006, Arley’s passion for music has become a part of her natural life. Arley’s songs reflect being a young women, being a daughter, being in a family, being in this chaotic world with her own dramatic personal experiences which can make you cry, laugh, and really just inspire you. Arley has many accolades and awards to mention so far in her young life. She has been performing in hotels, restaurants, cafés, and at songwriters & jam nights, weddings, fundraisers and private functions. So far, Arley has had numerous write ups in the local newspapers by Anna Rose, Rebecca Belt and Simon Chamberlain, has been interviewed regularly on FM92.9, 2TM and ABC Hunter New England radio stations. Arley’s music is truly unique and pure and could best be described as folk pop. Though she performs cover songs, she has a gift to give them a touch of her own. Some of the artists that have inspired Arley are Jewel, Lisa Loeb, Augustana, and Joni Mitchell. Arley Black recorded an EP titled “Watch Me Grow” in 2008 with 8 original tracks and has her sights set on completion of an album in the year 2010.
